Abstract

Games are effective as they create motivation, lower students' stress, and give language learners the opportunity for real communication. Games promote learners' interaction. Interaction comprises the nature of classroom pedagogy and classroom behavior. This article explores the myriad advantages of integrating games into English language instruction and highlights the transformative impact they have on students' learning experiences. In the realm of language education, the incorporation of games as a teaching tool has emerged as a dynamic and innovative approach to engage students, promote active learning, and enhance language acquisition. In particular, the utilization of games in teaching English at schools has proven to be a valuable strategy that not only makes learning enjoyable but also fosters skill development, language proficiency, and a deep understanding of English language concepts. It elicits a good imitation of the language and appropriate responses, and (3) communicative practice. It gives to the students a chance to use a foreign language.
